What is Malanga?
What is Malanga?
Malanga (Araceae family of Xanthosoma sagittifolium, Colocasia esculenta, and Colocasia antiquorum) is a tropical root vegetable, known for its starchy, tuberous corms, and large, heart-shaped leaves.
Predominantly, malanga is cultivated in tropical regions of Central and South America, the Caribbean, and Africa.

How do we produce our Neutral Ethanol?
How do we produce our Neutral Ethanol?
We produce ethanol from malanga.
Malanga is harvested, Agro-processed into dried chips, milled, mashed in the presence of enzymes to convert the starch component of malanga to sugar which is then fermented to produce a “beer”.
The beer is distilled through a series of specialized distillation columns to yield a final neutral ethanol of 96.4% strength and exceptional quality.

Our Zero Liquid Discharge, energy efficient distillery will be in Nyabihu Industrial Park and will produce 15 Kilo Liters Per Day of quality neutral ethanol.

Our Phase One, 15 Kilo Liters Per Day, manufacturing facility will be in Nyabihu Industrial Park, it will be designed and engineered with our cost-competitiveness and resiliency goals in mind. Our business practices will be defined within the framework of internationally recognized management systems which will ensure that our team delivers the company's objectives effectively and efficiently through one platform.
